Noah's Ark
Hongkong
With the objective of promoting education and interest to Creationism, as well as love and harmony, the Noah’s Ark was built. This unique attraction is a part of the Ma Wan Park located on Ma Wan Island.
A number of Christian organizations funded and manage Noah’s Ark, which is why the attractions here revolve around the themes of nature, art, love, and Christianity. Although this is given, you’d still be surprised that the park’s centerpiece is the world’s only full-size replica of Noah’s Ark. The impressive 4-storey Ark is built under the Tsing Ma Bridge, giving you a full view of the bridge and the locale. Inside the Ark, are life-sized 67 pairs of sculptures of exotic animals, birds, and other creatures, along with multimedia presentations and interactive exhibits, significantly re-telling the story of Noah’s Ark.
Completing the Creationism experience of the park are the following sections:
Noah’s Adventureland - features a complex of more than 20 rope courses of different levels of difficulty, and situated on a waterfront overlooking Tsing Ma Bridge
Ark Garden - features sculptures of endangered animals, trivia about select animals, a pretense of waterfalls and ponds
Ark Expo - features multimedia presentation of the history of the Park, collections of the world’s ark models, and a 4D Theatre showing the Amazing Power of Nature and Challenges we are facing
