Beijing
A very popular dim sum place for the locals, Wang Fu was one of the very first shops on Wellington Street. Wang Fu is famous for its home made dumplings, made in house and upon order to ensure freshness. Outside the restaurant is an urbanized city setting, with other restaurants and shops littering the area. The interior of the restaurant is small, simple, and quaint, designed for quick and casual dining. The location is very good. Situated right in the heart of the city, Wellington Street is jam-packed with stores and other establishments to visit.
The menu is pretty simple, a la carte, which includes noodles with cold and warm varieties, and its famous dumplings as it is or in noodle soup. Don’t forget to ask about the daily special! The best sellers are the Pork and Chive Dumplings and Egg and Tomato Dumplings (only available for dinner). Order size is 10pcs of dumplings per order, and 5pcs with noodle soup.
Price ranges from HK$30 to HK$120 per person.
Store hours are from 11:00am to 11:00pm. Afterwards you could go to Leaf Tea Boutique, a couple of meters away from Wang Fu, for a cold glass of milk tea.
