Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum
Hongkong
Museums and Galleries
The name of the museum itself suggests who it features. Clearly, this museum highlights the life and career of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, a Hong Kong revolutionary.
Dr. Sun Yat-sen is ambitious and a critical thinker in his youth. He studied both Chinese and English for the purposes of gaining knowledge on how to save his country. These are the reasons why a bronze statue of his image has been built in the museum.
The architecture of the building is of Greek-style, with granite columns, stained-glass windows, and balcony wall tiles. This preserved building is previously called Kom Tong Hall, a residence of a previous tycoon.
