Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre
Hongkong
Worth Noting
Known to most - if not all - Muslims residing in Hong Kong is the majestic Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre. If you see a big surreal square building made of white marble with a pink roof and a dome on top, then you have found the Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre. This place of worship is the biggest of its kind in Hong Kong and is worth visiting even if one is not Muslim. One can admire its architectural beauty from both inside and outside the building. Due to its size, accommodating large number of worshippers and visitors alike is no problem since it can fit around 3000 people at any given time.
What's great about this building is that it is located near other tourist attractions such as the space museum, the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Hong Kong Cultural Center, Avenue of the Stars , Hong Kong museum of History and the science museum . If the Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre can't give that peace of mind needed, then one can always visit the Kowloon Park beside it.
